Tucked away in Saint-David-de-Falardeau, Le Valinou\u00ebt ski resort quickly became one of our absolute favorite winter activities in Saguenay. It\u2019s hands down one of the most beautiful ski resorts we\u2019ve ever visited in Quebec. With 100% natural snow and pine forests lining the slopes, the scenery is nothing short of magical. Although some might hesitate at the thought of natural-only snow, rest assured: the resort gets nearly 600 cm (236 inches) of snowfall each winter, offering consistently excellent conditions throughout the season. Le Valinou\u00ebt features a large number of difficult and very difficult runs, making it a go-to destination for intermediate and advanced skiers. That said, beginners are not left out, there are 7 easy runs available.<\/span><\/p>\n

With an impressive vertical drop of 350 meters (1,148 feet), every descent promises thrills. For a winter activity in Saguenay that blends sport, nature, and breathtaking views, Le Valinou\u00ebt is simply a must. Sitting at an altitude of 810 meters (2,657 feet), the mountain rewards you with sweeping views of the snow-covered valley. In addition to its alpine ski slopes, Le Valinou\u00ebt also features a small network of cross-country trails totaling around 8 km (5 miles), spread across three scenic loops, all accessible for free.
